I just finished a week of musical job chairs. I had requested to be transfered to another department to solve my childcare scheduling issues. This resulted in everyone getting shifted around to fill the blank spots in staffing. Immediately after this transistion, the hours I thought I would be working changed causing me to turn down for now the position I was supposed to fill. Life has a sick sense of humor sometimes, as now I only work one day a week. Yippee!!
Thank goodness I got my tax return back otherwise I would really be worried right now instead of still hopeful things will work out. Although I wanted it to be all fun money instead of a way to support my daughter and myself through this rather annoying time.
However, I refuse to let The Man get me down. My cure for my current malady is going shopping. I was relatively good about it, I mainly stuck to the sales. I found that Nightmare Before Xmas lunchbox I have been oogling for some time. 50 percent off! How could I possibly turn it down?? I also bought a new corset top, bondage pants, bondage skirt on sale. I did get a little naughty when I found Labyrinth doorknockers full price. It was worth it when my offspring asked if they can talk. Oh the fun I will have tricking her with those things!
